"My name is Bet, and I have osteoporosis, arthritis, and severe scoliosis. When I first met Jane DoCampo, I had already been to orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other physicians and trainers, and no one had been able to help me. I had started to give up hope of ever having relief from my pain and discomfort, and I believed that my condition would continue to worsen as I grew older and weaker.
I began working with Jane, and I found her to be so knowledgeable about the human body and its interconnected systems. Seeing the body as a whole, she uses her skills and expertise to design individualized exercises to meet my specific needs.
Since I started my therapy with Jane, my strength and balance have increased, and my posture has improved significantly. My pain has greatly decreased, and my confidence and enjoyment of life have soared. I am truly grateful to have found Jane DoCampo."
"I am 73 years old and have had back problems and constant pain since I was 15 years old. Over time, I sought help from several orthopedic doctors and a neurosurgeon who encouraged me to have surgery which I did not want because of the morbidity from the extensive surgery that would be needed. I was treated by several physical therapists and a scoliosis chiropractor but had no or minimal benefit from these professionals.
In one last effort to get help, I found Jane’s practice during an internet search for a scoliosis therapist. After only 2 months of twice a week therapy, I have decreased pain, improved posture and greater mobility.
As I am a physician, I have a sufficient background to see that Jane has an extensive knowledge of human anatomy, human motility and understands that the therapeutic approach must look at the body as a whole. This approach clearly leads Jane to design a specific therapy program for the unique anatomical problems each individual has.
Jane has also been extremely careful to prevent any injuries from occurring during therapy and never pushes me to make any movements that cause pain.
She is also marvelously intelligent, kind, compassionate and very patient and has a wonderful ability to teach me how to practice some of the special exercises for my specific type of scoliosis.
I am so thankful that I found Jane’s practice and decided to take a chance, hoping that I might be able to find some help.
I highly recommend Jane and her therapeutic practice to anyone suffering with back problems whether or not it is due to scoliosis." -
